What We Believe

God is the source of all life

We believe God is the source of all life. 

Everything that exists began with Him. God created everything and everyone.

People were made in His image. Because of that, every human life has purpose, value, and meaning. We were created by God and for God.

We believe God wants people to know Him.

Sin separates us from God

Life was not meant to be lived apart from Him. God gives people the choice to live according to His way or our own. That choice shows up in our thoughts, our motives, our actions, our relationships, and the way we live each day.

Sin is what happens when we fall short of God’s design. It is not only doing wrong things. It is living apart from God and choosing our own way over His. Sin separates us from God. Because God is the source of life, separation from Him leads to death. 

That is why every person needs grace.

All of us have sinned. All of us have thought, said, or done things that fall short of God’s will. If God had not acted, we would have no way to rescue ourselves.

But God did act

God sent Jesus Christ, His Son, fully God and fully man, to do what we could not do for ourselves. Jesus took our sin upon Himself. He died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and rose from the dead.

This was not a last-minute solution. It was God's plan from the beginning. Long before Jesus came, God spoke through Scripture about the One who would come to save His people. Jesus fulfilled that promise. 

Because of Jesus, forgiveness is offered freely.

Salvation is received by faith

Salvation is not earned by being good enough, doing enough, or fixing ourselves first. It is received by God's grace through faith in Jesus. We turn from our own way, trust Him for the forgiveness of our sins, and receive the life God always intended for us to have. 

Everyone is invited.

When we place our faith in Jesus, God forgives our sins and makes us His. That is salvation. From that point on, God begins changing us to become more like Christ throughout our lives. We don't change ourselves so that God will accept us. God accepts us through faith in Jesus, and then He changes us.  This ongoing work is called sanctification.

Everyone is welcome to come to Jesus

No matter your background, your past, your questions, or how far you feel from God, Jesus welcomes you to come to Him. Real life is found in Him.
